Vulcan has earned an excellent reputation for customer service.  If you dial our emergency 24-hour phone number (see Contact Us), you won't get an answering service -- it's the Owner's personal cell phone.  We are available 24 hours every day to service your requirements.  We also maintain emergency contacts with our key suppliers, allowing us to procure materials (tubular goods, fin strip, etc.) on an emergency basis.

Our job quoting system is state-of-the-art, built around a Microsoft Access database.  This system enables us to rapidly prepare quotes and respond to your inquiry with a written proposal that can be automatically faxed or transmitted via email.

Our production shop is in operation 24 hours per day.  If your needs warrant, we can begin your job immediately and continue working around the clock to meet your delivery requirements.

Vulcan's production shop layout is configured such that we can handle any job, large or small, and can efficiently adjust for changing production requirements and customer priorities.  As examples: our welded helical production lines can be easily switched between solid helical and serrated helical configurations; extraordinary pipe lengths can easily be accommodated by inserting additional modules in the production line; our number of aluminum L-foot machines means that set-up changes to handle different tube/fin size combinations are rarely required; L-foot production is easily changed from solid fin to perforated fin operation, etc.

Another example of Vulcan's commitment to customer service is the fact that we stock a large quantity of 5/8" OD steel tube with 7/16" aluminum L-foot fins, a common finned tube configuration used in air coolers.  This configuration is frequently required on a priority basis to meet cooler re-tubing requirements. Our stocked tube is already finned and ready for immediate delivery after being cut to customer-specified length.

Vulcan provides complete related services such as cutting, end preparation (beveling), bending, and packaging for domestic or export shipping.

Vulcan can reduce the expense of field installation by providing fabrication services such as center welding, stress relieving, and X-ray.  We can supply finned tubes fabricated into J-canes, U-tubes, or complete heater configurations ready for installation (see Fabrication Services).

Vulcan can also provide technical services -- some typical examples are sizing and rating of tank heaters and preparation of detailed drawings for your finned tube configurations.
